Acclaimed poet, author, and actor, Maya Angelou, spoke at the sold out MU Jesse Auditorium on Saturday, March 17th. She shared personal stories throughout her life and inspired the audience to have a positive effect on peers by being "a rainbow in someone's life."
Kelosta Moore, better known as Choklate, performed at the Black Culture Center in Columbia, Mo on Feb. 15. She sings hip-hop music and was named the 2006 best new neo-soul artist.
